Our market leading team members worked on the  WestWind  project  which was on the next level for large scale wind farms developed in New Zealand and was connected to the national Transpower grid.  The site has some of the best wind resource in the world and the CBOP scope was was inclusive of mining and manufacturing the roading and concrete aggregates on site. A unique factor was developing the temporary wharf access for the component delivery and also working adjacent to the critical Transpower infrastructure in Cable Bay.

David Rubery managed the bid, a formal ECI phase and the CBOP delivery with the full range of disciplines including bulk earthworks, drainage, pavements, turbine foundation construction, cable reticulation install, full substation construction, transmission line civil works, fencing and associated site, health & safety, environmental, traffic and quality compliance.

Goodman Contractors under the management of Stan Goodman were civil subcontractors for the bulk earthworks, foundation excavations, drainage, environmental management and site rehabilitation.
