Our market leading team members worked on the  Mill Creek project which had some unique features in regard to the site access, where a temporary access road was constructed through the Spicer Forrest and the local roading network being significantly upgraded.

The CBOP programme required the majority of the earthworks to be carried out through the winter of 2013, which provided challenges for working in poor ground conditions and weather.  There was a significant stakeholder aspect with the local residents on the access road, farming operations and the adjacent TransPower network assets. The project was successfully delivered.

David Rubery bid and managed the ECI phase and the CBOP delivery with the full range of disciplines including bulk earthworks, drainage, pavements, turbine foundation construction, cable reticulation install, substation and transmission line civil works, fencing and associated site, health & safety, environmental, traffic and quality compliance.

Goodman Contractors under the management of Stan Goodman were the principal subcontractors for the bulk earthworks, foundation excavations, drainage, environmental management and site rehabilitation.
